Description
This black and white picture postcard features a metal bridge over a river. Trees are on either side of the river. The title along the bottom of the card reads "The Upper County Bridge Across Leap River, Hattiesburg, Miss." An inscription and date is handwritten beneath the title. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked twice. The first postmark is Hattiesburg, Mississippi, December 3, 1901 and the second postmark is Asbery Park, New Jersey December 5, 1901. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Mrs. H. A. Howland in Asbery Park, New Jersey.

[front of postcard] Dec. 3, 1907 Best Regards, Lloyd [back of postcard] Business is pretty up. We have been playing to good [?] I sent you some cotton by sending you a cigar box. I hope you get it alright. Let me know whether you get it. Please tell Hazel to write me at Rockvill. Lloyd [sic]
