This color postcard advertises Bufkin and Bompany's Drug store with a photo of Front Street depicted in the middle of a sandwich chalkboard. A child is depicted as erasing the words on the sandwich board. The description reads "Hattiesburg is a beautiful city. We have here fine streets, big industries, high buildings, prety girls which every body likes to look at, the later particularly can been seen at Bufkin and Bompany's Drug Store. Be sure and come by. The back of of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indiciation for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Hattiesburg, Mississippi July 7, 1908. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Miss Dorothy Stumberg in St. Charles, Missouri.
