Description

This black and white postcard features a wooded area with a wagon full of barrells, men on horseback, and a woman carrying a basket. The title along the bottom of the card reads "Turpentine Orchard, Hattiesburg, Miss." An inscription is handwritten on the left side of the card. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for address placement. A green one cent stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Hattiesburg, Mississippi February 20. The card is addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ellicock in St. Louis, Missouri.
