Description
This black and white picture postcard features a three story building with an awning over the front door entrance and a balcony on the third floor. The window over the door reads "I. O. O. F." and a small sign to the left of the entrance reads "Oliver and Burkes Contractors." A horse stands on the street in front and a ladder is laying on sidewalk. The title beneath the photo reads "I. O. O. F. Building, Lodge No. 127, Front St., Hattiesburg, Miss. Issued by D. B. Henley, Photographer." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard with indication for stamp, address, and correspondence placement. The card is partially addressed to Miss A. George.

I hope you can read this. When get well please come to see me. Empsia has a wheel. Dear Cousin Anna, I am sick in bed. Papa is at N.O. buying my wheel. I am going to ride to see you. Excuse my writing.
