This color postcard features uniformed men loading a large weapon on wheels. Pine trees and a covered truck sourrounded by uniformed me are pictured in the background. The title along the bottom of the card reads "Squad Loading 75 Millimeter Gun--Camp Shelby near Hattiesburg, Miss. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner. The lines for the postmark are visible over the stamp but the postmark, itself, is missing. The card is insribed and is addressed to Mrs. Hawkins in Ohio. The description in the upper left corner reads "Camp Shelby--Near Hattiesburg, Mississippi was established during the World War. Situated on high rolling pine clad hills this camp will be one of the largest in the country."
