Description
This postcard features a black and white image of the band stand at Camp Shelby in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, a covered platform enclosed by wooden rails with "Y" shaped columns. A pole stands in front of the band stand and a building is seen behind it. The title of the card is beneath the image and reads "BAND STAND, Band plays every afternoon, Camp Shelby, Hattiesburg, Miss." The back of the card is addressed to Miss Alma Parks in Bogard, Missouri. The card is postmarked Hattiesburg, Miss., February 16, 1919 and two green, one cent George Washington postage stamps are placed in the upper right corner. The inscription on the left half of the card reads "Best Regard and Lots of Love. From Harry"
