Description

This black and white photograph features a front view of the Mississippi State Capitol building in Jackson, Mississippi. The building features six columns along the entrance. Columns also decorate the front of each end. The dome is featured above the entrance with an eagle perched on top. Trees and a sidewalk line the front of the building and a leafy tree branch is in the forground of the upper right corner of the photograph. A typed label on the back of the photograph identifies the building and describes the building as having been built in the Classic style with Bedford limestone.
