Description

This postcard features a black and white image of an aerial view of Port Gibson, Mississippi including commercial buildings, trees, streets, a church, and horses and wagons on the streets. The back of the card is addressed to Miss Nannett Stevens in Apple River, Illinois. The card is postmarked Port Gibson, Mississippi, September 12, 1909 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed upside down in the upper right corner. An inscription is written sideways on the left half of the card. [see transcription field]
