Description

This black and white postcard features the buildings, people and horse drawn buggies on a busy street. The title at the bottom of the image reads "Main Street" and "Natchez, Miss." is in the lower left corner of the card. The publisher is named in the bottom left of the image and the photographer is listed in the lower right corner of the image. An inscription is handwritten in the white space at the bottom of the card. The back of the postcardidentifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Natchez, Mississippi, August 9, 1906. A received mark for Epping New Hampshire, August 13, 1906 is lower left corner.
