Description

This postcard features a multi-level Jewish Synagogue in Natchez, Mississippi. A wide, arched entrance is flanked by tall columns, two each on either side. An arched, stained glass window is above the door and dental molding lines the cornice of the roof. The front elevation of the gabled roof has a filigree. A small dome is in the center of the roof. The title of the card is printed sideways on the right edge of the card. The back of the card is addressed to Miss. M. Hewitt. The card is postmarked New Orleans, Louisiana, November 23, 1906 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner.
