Description
This postcard features a black and white image of a bird's eye view of Vicksburg, Mississippi complete with buildings, streets, trees, and a view of the Mississippi River to the right. The title is printed beneath the image with the copyright printed just above it. A handwritten inscription along the bottom edge reads, "4/22/06 Someday Alfred A. Appling". The back of the postcard is addressed to Lillian May Appling in Mr. Washington, Ohio. The card is postmarked 1906 and includes a green, one cent Benjaman Franklin postage stamp in the upper right corner.
