Description

This color postcard features steamer ship with two stacks, a center tower and a water wheel. The title in the upper right identifies the ship as "Queen and Crescent Transfer Steamer Albatross. Vicksburg, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Vicksburg, Mississippi, April 14, 1916. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Mrs. Nels Johnson in Benson, Minnesota.
