Description

This color postcard features a Confederate monument with a Confederate Soldier holding a gun on top. The middle portion of the column features a rebel flag and the base of the monument appears to bear names of soldiers with the words "Confederate Soldiers" beneath it. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for postage stamp placement. The Deep South Logo is in the top center and the left corner edge features several southern images. The description in the upper left reads "Fayette, Mississippi, Confederate Memorial...Jefferson County's tribute to her Confederate Soldiers. This monument was erected in 1904."
