Description

This postcard features black and white images of five buildings or places from around Port Gibson, Mississippin including, clockwise from the top left, the Claiborne County courthouse, the Presbyterian Church, Chamberlain Hunt Academy, Port Gibson Female College, and the Episcopal Church. "Port Gibson, Miss" is printed in the upper right edge of the card and an inscription is written sideways on the right edge of the card and wraps up to the top right edge. The back of the card is addressed to Mr. Loui Switzer in Vicksburg, Mississippi. The card is postmarked Port Gibson, Miss., September 7, 1907 and two green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamps are placed in the upper right corner.
