Description
This stereograph features a scene of people in late nineteenth century clothing gathered on the lawn outside of a white two story house. The house is white clapboard with columns across the front, a decorative railing along the front edge of the roof, and a cupola in the center of the roof. Trees surround the house. The publisher's name is printed on either end of the images and the title of the image and copyright are printed along the bottom right edge. The back of the stereograph gives a brief history of the house as having belonged to George Washington's family.
