Description
This stereograph features a group of United States battleships lined up out on the open water. Black smoke is seen coming from the stacks of each battleship. The title printed beneath the image identifies the lead ship as the Connecticut. The publisher's name is printed on either end of the images. The back of the stereograph gives a brief history of the Hampton Roads Harbor at the mouth of the James River in Virginia.
