Description

This stereograph features a woman in a late nineteenth century dress, standing with her hands on her hips at the edge of the rock at Glacier Point at Yosemite Valley, California. A view of the cliffs, Yosemite Falls, and the gorge is seen beyond the point where the woman is standing. The publisher's name is printed on either end of the images and the title and copyright are printed along the bottom right edge. The back of the stereograph provides a brief history of the area and the a quote from an explorer upon first seeing the valley.
