This stereograph features a steam locomotive on the railroad between two tall rock formations wit the Columbia River to the right. Trees are seen on the side of the railroad and at the top of the rock formations. The publisher's name is printed on either end of the images and the title of the images and the copyright are printed along the bottom right edge. The back of the stereograph provides a brief history of the area and the Columbia River.
