Description

This stereograph features the grand staircase on the north end of the Library of Congress. The staircase features columns, archways, ornate moldings, and ornately carved banisters. A man can be seen walking up from the bottom steps and a woman wearing a hat is seen on the stairs just behind the banister. The publisher's name is printed on each end of the image and the title of the image and the copyright are printed in the lower right edge. The back of the stereograph provides a brief description of the layout from the staircase and some facts about the library of Congress.
