This stereograph features a man sitting on a tree stump beside the railroad tracks as he watched a steam locomotive train approach. Mountains, a lake, and trees are seen beyond the train and shrubs are seen behind the man. The publisher's name is printed at each of the images and the title of the images and the copyright are printed along the bottom right edge. The back of the stereograph provides history on Horseshoe Curve where the train is located in the image.
