Mississippi Forestry Association Records
The Mississippi Forestry Association Records digital collection has a selected digitized materials including correspondence, minutes, reports, clippings, scrapbooks, photographs, financial records, oral history transcripts and questionnaires, records of committee activities, publications, and other records of the Mississippi Forestry Association. Among the major subjects are forestry education, legislation, and taxation; forest fires; replanting of forests; ethics; 16th section school lands; soil conservation; and leading figures in the Mississippi forestry industry. Also included are timber and salvage projects following hurricanes Camille and Frederic.
