Recipes for medicines to treat ailments in animals: 'Distemper in Dogs'; 'Colic in Horses'; 'Swiney In Horses'; 'Blind staggers'; 'Coughs in Horses'; 'Tonic Powder'; 'Cholera in Chickens'; and 'Roup in chickens'. A section that begins 'Negro Whipping' includes a list of names of persons and places. A list entitled 'Doctors called in' includes three names. At top of page is note 'King Cholera Cures.'
