Description
In this handwritten letter, dated February 12, 1899, Mammie writes her friend, Annie Webb Ray to update her on how life has been since Mammie moved from Kosciusko. She discusses the frustration with the snowy weather, a small outbreak of small pox, and the death of a woman from tuberculosis. She goes on to updated her on how the rest of her family is doing and how lazy she has become since moving.
