Description

This black and white photograph, taken in 1929, features Elinor Smith after re-setting the women's solo flying endurance record. Smith is pictured in an early twentieth century flight suit, cap, goggles and boots while standing in front of a small aircraft. The text typed below the photo includes a brief description of the photo and it's use in the book, Aviatrix published in May 1981.
