Description

This black and white photograph shows Congressman William Colmer standing in front of a building in Washington, DC with members of the Post-War Economic Policy and Planning Committee of which he is chair. The men are all wearing suits and ties with many of them holding hats and/or coats. The committee developed the blueprint for converting the nation from a wartime to a peacetime economy.
