Description

This black and white photograph shows a close-up of the trophy given to Mary Ann Mobley when she won the Miss America pageant in 1958. The trophy includes a statue of a winged woman holding a wreath over her head in the center of four columns. Winged creatures are on the top four corners with a small dome covering the columns. A figurine of a woman is on top of the dome though her head was "cut off" from the photograph The base of the trophy is square with a brass plaque that provides the winners information.
