In this black and white photograph, reporter for Jackson, Mississippi's newspaper, The Clarion Ledger, Gene Wirth (left) is pictured standing with Mississippi Governor candidate, William "Bill" Winter in front of the Mississippi State Capitol building. Wirth is pictured wearing a gray-toned suit and dark-rimmed eyeglasses and Winter is pictured wearing a dark suit and necktie. "To Bill with love, Gene" is written in the center of the image.
