Description

This back and white photograph shows a view of the buildings, storefronts and vehicles on Capitol Street in Jackson, Mississippi during the early 1980's. A view of the Old Capital building can be seen at the far end of the street. Storefronts shown are McOrory's, Hermans, Factory Outlet, and Parisian on the left side of the street. Cars, streetlights, and people are seen on the street and on the sidewalks on either side of the street.
