Description
This black and white photograph shows a view of the storefronts in downtown Jackson, Mississippi at the Capitol and Mill streets intersection as seen through an open doorway. Capitol News and Novelty Shop, People's Café, Cohen Brothers, and Lott Furniture are the identifiable storefronts. A car is pictured turning onto Capitol Street from Mill Street and a person is pictured standing at the sidewalk near a car. Other cars are pictured parked on either side of the street. Light poles and traffic lights are a the intersection. The doorway from where the photo was taken appears to have debris on the floor.
