Description
In this letter, dated May 3, 1946, William D. McCain, director of the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, writes to Eunice J. Stockwell in acknowledgement of the receipt of pages for the Montgomery papers. "Material for Sketches" is typed on the back with information on the Yerger family. The letter is typed on Department of Archives and History, State of Mississippi letterhead.
