Description

In this letter, dated October 19, 1956, Gene Corban writes to Myrtis S. Wineman to thank her for her letter and let her know that while she does not have the "Amanda tree" she does have a Guice family tree based on the "Amanda tree." The envelope is postmarked Ocean Springs, Mississippi, October 21, 1956 and contains a purple, three cent Statue of Liberty postage stamp. Wineman's handwritten notes are across the left side of the envelope and beneath the postmark.
