In this letter, dated March 17, 1965, J. B. Cain writes to Myrtis S. Wineman to advise her on what types of files and records she will likely find while researching in Jackson. He describes his own research through the Advocate in search of a letter her mother had written for the publication some time past and requests her mother's name and when she wrote the letter.
