Description

In this letter, dated September 10, 1922, Ann Bartlett Coddington writes to J. S. G. in care of Boston Transcript in response to a letter she received about the White family in the South. She explains that the information she has is unreliable as it mostly comes from tradition and stories told by her grandmother. She does provide the names and places she'd been told of and asks if they can provide her with any other information.
