Description

This handwritten letter, dated May 15, 1865, is a reply from Orville E. Babcock in Washington, D. C. to W. P. Smith in Baltimore, Maryland. The letter assured Smith that there is no review scheduled at that time but that one will likely take place soon. The letter goes on to speculate where the review will take place and what Smith might expect. The letter is signed, "Respectfully yours, O. E. Babcock, Lient Col A. O. G., Gnl Grants Staff.
