Dear Mom and Annette -

Brr! It sure is getting cold here. The Sunny South! Ha! Ha! It reminds me that I'll have to buy an overcoat out of this pay - another $40 shot to ----! Oh well it will last for the duration- I hope! Shh! Don't tell anybody - I received a card from Sgt. and Mrs. Ziegler today. She wants to know why I don't write. Ahem! Should I tell her?
