Saturday 11P.M. Boloxi [sic]

Dear Ma: Sitting in Bas now waiting to go back to camp. Just had 2 bags of nice peanuts and had several nice cool “Lemonades” to cool me off a little. Ha! Ha! In the club they had 2 large Fans and I mean they sure helped a lot on one of the hottest nights of the year. Very warm here today. The Humidity is so bad here. I didn’t get down to the Dance in VSO tonight as it is too warm inside, and I stayed by the large Fans. Ha! Ha! I come to Bolixi [sic] tonight for one reason to see if any Frank West Paper was up yet. Didn’t see any! Maybe another week will show some. Checked Bus schedule and believe Train is better service. Arrange now for the [?] Fair. Check Bus Schedule. Love Chas xxxxxxx

I like the song “Time Waits for no one” Getting popular here again.
