Abstract

This newscast for the radio station, Miss 103, is hosted by radio journalist, Randy Bell. In the newscast, Bell opens the segment with the weather then reports on the Columbine High School massacre that took place in Littleton, Colorado. The report includes a soundbite from law enforcement and a survivor. The next report covers an anthrax threat that was made via a letter that was left at the Harrison County Circuit Court building in Biloxi, Mississippi. The last report details the vents that took place in Kosciusko, Mississippi during World War Two, wherein a Blimp flying over narrowly escaped crashing with the help of men and male students in the town who helped pull them to safety. A reunion of the pilot and crew with the townspeople in Kosciusko was held to commemorate the event. Soundbites from the pilot, Clayton Janecky and some of the townspeople. The segment ends with a recap of the weather.
