Abstract

MSS. 657. 1914-2013. circa 17.5 cubic feet. The collection contains correspondence, manuscripts, interviews, publicity and promotional materials, photographs, publications, audio-visual materials and other memorabilia from the life and literary career of Eudora Welty and collected by Hunter McKelva Cole, colleague and friend of Welty. Cole was Associate Director for Marketing at the University Press of Mississippi during the time when they published many editions of Welty works. Many of the publications and other materials collected by Cole are autographed by Welty.
