Description

This is a black and white photo of the Oktoc Float with the King, Queen, a young boy, and a young girl standing on top. The float is labelled "OKTOC" on the side, and it is otherwise decorated with a silo and crown. The float is for Milk Fest. Milk Fest, or the North Central Mississippi Milk Festival, was a corporate event that highlighted the various dairies available in the area in 1940 and 1942. The Queen is holding a bouquet of flowers, and the boy and girl are each standing next to a cow.
