Description

Tom Gibson, of Clarksdale, a member of the State Legislature at the time and part of a group called For America: A Committee for Public Action, writes to Colvard to express his disapproval of the decision for the basketball team to play an integrated team. Gibson issues a threat to Colvard that he will no longer support Colvard and Mississippi State's interests if Colvard does not reverse his decision.
