Description
Mrs. Sadye Wier and Dr. John F. Marszalek (right), associate professor of history at MSU, are pictured with the book they collaborated on to recount the life of Mrs. Wier's late husband, Robert Wier who was the first black to own and operate a business in downtown Starkville. Dr. Jimmy Shoalmire, director of Special Collections in the MSU library, is also pictured.
