A tract of pasture land similar to No. 4 but not terraced. Note the excessive run-off. Photographs of No. 4 and No. 5 were taken within a few minutes of each other. In No. 5, the water is wasted, the soil is wasted, the seed is wasted, the manure is wasted, and the pasture remains a poor piece of land
