Description
Ronald W. Canterna submitted a successful proposal for a 1991 Faculty Grant-In-Aid administered through the University of Wyoming Office of Research. The Grant, recommended by the Faculty Senate Research Coordination Committee, provides $4,995 to support construction of prototype infrared multichannel astrometric photometer (IRMAP) and a second infrared telescope. The system will be dedicated to the high precision measurement of stars over time, a significant addition to the capabilities of UW's Infrared Observatory on Jelm Mountain.
