Alternative Title

Winbush, Bailey win honors as 500 watch pageant opener

Description

This article discusses the first night of the Miss MSU pageant held in Lee Hall Auditorium on Mississippi State's campus. While the Reflector urged readers to boycott the pageant due to it's high cost, one ticket seller claims that this did not interfere with sales. Judi Bailey took first in the swimsuit competition and Marilynn Winbush claimed the victory in the talent portion. A photograph of Miss MSU hopefuls on stage is included with the article.
