Description

Color bookplate from unidentified volume: ""Battle of Shiloh..."" Copyright 1888, by L. Prang, Boston. In the foreground of the image, there is a depiction of a Union solider dispatching a messenger. There is also a depiction of a Union officer ordering soldiers into battle on horseback. In the background of the image, there are numerous depictions of Union soldiers firing large cannons toward the left of the image. There is also renderings of trees with brown leaves.
