Description

The medal's obverse design depicts a portrait image of Confederate Lieutenant General James Longstreet. To the left of his portrait, three soldiers are shown with weapons raised in battle. On the reverse, Confederate and United States flags are pictured intersecting at the top of the medal. Several rifles appear behind the flags, and the image of an eagle is placed at the center of the intersection. At the medal's bottom, a decorative border lines the edge.
