Description

This handwritten invoice, dated May 1862, is for one heavy ox wagon at sixty dollars, 2 log wheels at forty dollars each, for a total of one hundred and forty dollars. The items were taken by Captain Barstow for hauling timber for railroad bridges at Fredericksburg, Virginia and were never returned to Peleg Clarke. There is some damage in the center of the page.
