Description
This deed, dated March 20, 1827, is a land deed for a twenty-five acre parcel of land in Westerly, Rhode Island sold to Terry Healy by James Burdick for the sum of one hundred and ninety dollars. The deed describes the location of the land sold and is signed by James Burdick, Anna Burdick, and Prudence Burdick by their marks and witnessed by Hoxie Terry and Samuel Stanton. The deed was received by the Westerly town clerk, Stephen Wilcox, Jr. on March 23, 1827 and was recorded in the Westerly 16th Book of Records of the Land Evidence. The paper has some tearing along the bottom edges.
