Description
This document, dated February 9, 1824, is an indenture apprenticeship contract between Peter Crandal and Perry Healy in which Crandal agrees to bond himself to Healy to learn farming until July 12, 1830 at which time he agrees to serve the Healy family under certain terms and conditions. The contract is signed by Peter Crandal via his mark and Perry Healy and was witnessed by James B. Adams and Thomas Austins. The paper is damaged along some edges and there are ink smudges over several words.
