Description

This pamphlet is a collection or compilation of photos and portraits from Lincoln's life, aptly titled the "Life of Lincoln Told in Pictures". The pamphlet contains photos, portraits, and illustrations with short captions below them, and there are short summaries on the sides of some of the pages to summarize important events in Lincoln's life. the cover of the pamphlet is largely composed of a portrait of Lincoln with the title and summary information placed above the portrait and the issuer below. Lincoln's Gettysburg address is included on the back cover of the pamphlet. The illustrations in this supplement were reproduced from the publication, "American history told in pictures", and were furnished by the Illustrated Supplement Company, New York.
